Installation Guide
The SNMP App provides a set of query commands for retrieving and monitoring information from network devices. It supports both SNMPv2c (community-based) and SNMPv3 (security profile-based) protocols. If the target device supports SNMPv3, a connection profile must be configured. For SNMPv2c, no configuration is required.
Configuring a Logpresso Connection Profile
To configure the connection profile, follow the steps in the Logpresso Sonar UI documentation:
- In the System > Connection Profiles menu, click the Add button.
- Refer to this guide to fill in the common settings. For Type, select SNMPv3.
- Refer to this section to configure the SNMPv3-specific settings.
